💫 The Build-Up:

It started the first time Mu Hak saw Dali, the way he looked at her? Yeah, he was done for. Totally smitten at first sight, even if he immediately started building himself a whole denial island, surrounded by a denial moat and a denial fortress. He tried so hard to pretend he wasn’t falling, but oh, he was already gone.

There were a couple of absolutely adorable accidental falls where they landed right on top of each other. Hearts thumping, eyes wide, and both of them getting all flustered and shy after. Ugh. My heart.

Mu Hak kept insisting he was just her creditor, but he was constantly showing up to help her. Half the time it was because he accidentally made things worse for her (sweet dumb boy energy) but he always did his best to fix it. And of course, we had a good sprinkle of jealousy too. He was soooo obvious about it.

Dali, meanwhile, was clearly charmed. The way she’d giggle at his ridiculousness (like when he didn’t know who Da Vinci was) made it clear she thought he was adorable. You could see it every time he showed up to protect her or look out for her, how much her heart was fluttering.

Then the moment before the kiss… ohhh my heart. Mu Hak opened up about losing his mother, and the way he spoke, so honest and hurting, really pulled at my heartstrings. Dali’s compassion in that moment made it all the more powerful. The connection between them felt real, and the emotions were so raw and beautiful.

🎭 Reactions + Aftermath:

Mu Hak might be the most adorkable male lead I’ve ever seen. He was all flustered and shy after the kiss, calling it “the most incredible moment” and then immediately acting like he didn’t say it.

He didn’t want to leave, so he awkwardly convinced her to drive him because he’d had wine hours ago at the art center. Like… sir. Please. You just didn’t want the night to end. And I respect that.

And of course, he got jealous again when he saw her with Won Tak, who no one has bothered to explain is basically her brother. Poor baby is out here spiraling, and I love him for it. They’re just such a lovable, awkward, sweet couple.

💗💗💗💗💗 – Swoon factor absolutely gets. There was so much meaning behind it and a deep sense of connection. It was subtle and sweet, but the depth of emotions in the moment made me swoon so hard!

💋 – This first kiss wasn’t of the spicy variety so I’m giving it. With how much they both feel already I am sure that we’ll get a much spicier kiss as we go along!.

✨✨ – I gasped for two reasons, one because Dali initiated the kiss. Which I think was so good. Mu Hak was hurting and from his personality I doubt he had told anyone about the pain of losing his mother. So for Dali to close that distance and kiss him so tenderly when he needed that connection the most was amazing! Secondly, I gasped just due to the emotional moment and how I could not have asked for a better first kiss for this couple !

📝 Final Thoughts:

I am so on board with this ship. I am seated. I am strapped in. I have snacks. This ship is sailing into the sunset and I refuse to get off.

Yes, there will be misunderstandings. Yes, they’ll flail emotionally like adorable messes. But their mutual respect, attraction, and support are already so strong. It’s only a matter of time before we get another kiss, and this time? It’s gonna be spicy.
