A cartoon-style illustration of a woman with long dark hair, wearing a purple sweater and earrings, standing with crossed arms and giving a dramatic side-eye to a computer screen. Above her head, bold purple text reads “PREPARING THE SIDE-EYE.” The background is a dark, moody purple with sparkles scattered around, adding a humorous and sassy vibe.

We open with mutual heartbreak across the room, Sa Rang’s shocked stare meets Won’s devastated gaze while everyone else in the dining room just watches it unfold. 😭

Our precious baby even tries to pick up the shattered plate for her, but her supervisor sends her off with a look that screams, “Prepare for hell.” And hell, it is, Sa Rang is banished to second-floor duty, where she’s tasked with babysitting Evil Lady’s spoiled gremlin of a child.

💔 Confessions, Cold Shoulders, and Crushing Silence

Won, bless him, tells his father that he’s in love with someone else.
Chairman Gu? Unbothered. 🚬
Bride-to-be? Basically says, “Yeah, love her, then marry me.”

Excuse me???

So now we have a full villain lineup: Evil Sister, Daddy Gu, and Bridezillaall gunning for my ship. I AM NOT OKAY.

A digital illustration of a sad couple standing apart, facing each other with downcast expressions. The male lead, wearing a lavender blazer and shirt, looks heartbroken with his head slightly lowered. The female lead, dressed in a lavender sweater and beige skirt, mirrors his sadness with a quiet, somber gaze. The image uses soft pastel tones and a semi-anime art style, evoking a gentle, emotional moment of distance between the two.

Won tries to reach Sa Rang, texts, calls, even shows up at her place, only for the police to mistake him for a stalker. (Thank goodness for his awkward, lovable way of wriggling out of it.)

The next day, he walks into the lounge and…
She gives him the cold, professional smile.
Not the jagi smile. Not the “I miss you” smile. Just Head Manager Gu-level indifference.

MY. HEART. BROKE.

😭 BUT WAIT? SHE WASN’T MAD AT HIM?!

A cartoon-style illustration of a wide-eyed woman in a purple sweater nervously clutching a pillow to her face. Her cheeks are flushed with panic and her expression screams “I did NOT see that twist coming!” Above her, bold purple text says “PLOT TWIST PANIC!” against a dark, moody background, evoking high-drama suspense and unexpected K-drama chaos.

Plot twist!! Sa Rang wasn’t mad at Won, she was mad that the “pinnacle” of being a hotel concierge was to serve as house help (basically a maid) for the Gu family.
She’s furious that being sent to serve rich chaebol elites is held up as the ultimate honor. And honestly? She’s right. 👏
All that emotional flailing I did? Worth it, but OUCH.

Thankfully, once they talk it out, they’re fine. They’re better than fine. They’re adorable again. 😭

🧄 Scallion Justice & Da Eul’s Mic Drop

Da Eul finds out her useless husband has been out partying with friends while she’s been:

  • Crushing it at King Department Store
  • Raising her genius daughter Cho Rong
  • Cleaning, cooking, AND caring for his ungrateful family 👏

She finally snaps, and beats him with scallions.
Yes. You heard me.
Scallions.
And it is everything I’ve ever wanted.

Honestly? I would’ve added soy sauce to that spanking and called it seasoning for character development.

🫠 Soft Moments and a Spy Cam Surprise

This episode doesn’t quit.

  • Grumpy Cat CEO learns the full truth about his mom, but isn’t ready to see her.
  • Evil Sister’s son (the supposed brat) turns out to be an actual sweetheart when Sa Rang and Won care for him like humans, not nuisances.
  • We get a near-kiss in Won’s bedroom (!!!) followed by Sa Rang’s unwavering support and understanding.

They hug.
They kiss.
It’s soft.
It’s gentle.
It’s perfect.EXCEPT SOMEONE’S TAKING PICTURES.
And I know those talon-manicured fingers behind that camera belong to Evil Wench Sister. 😤

Charming cartoon-style fangirl with purple hair and heart eyes, clutching a remote in one hand and her chest with the other in dramatic swoon mode. Surrounded by pink hearts and sparkles, she looks lovestruck and thrilled. Above her, bold pastel text reads “LET’S KISS AND TELL,” setting the tone for a drama breakdown full of romantic chaos and fangirl joy.

💜 Loved this flail? There’s a whole archive of chaos waiting for you.
