Zenyalore Kisses

A cozy Asian drama review blog focused on first kisses, swoony moments, and storytelling magic run by Zen-ah, your romantic drama bestie.

💌 From Drama Noona to Zenyalore Kisses ~ A Little Hello Again 💌

Hey there, familiar faces (and lovely new ones too)

I’m Zen-ah.
If you used to follow my old blog, The Drama Noona, then… surprise! It’s still me. Just with a few more sparkles, a slightly softer heart, and a LOT more opinions about kisses happening before episode seven.

I didn’t mean to disappear. But life has a way of throwing plot twists even Makjang writers would call a bit much. Between medical issues, job loss, and the emotional kind of burnout that makes even your favorite dramas feel like homework… I stepped away.

For a while, I didn’t know if I’d come back.

But here I am. And this time, I’m not chasing trends or trying to be an expert. I’m just showing up, with my full heart, messy feelings, and all the swoony chaos that comes from loving dramas a little too much.

Zenyalore Kisses is my new cozy corner of the internet.
It’s soft. It’s sparkly. It’s unapologetically emotional.
It’s not about keeping up, it’s about feeling everything.

Here’s what’s blooming over here these days:

  • 💋 Kiss by Kiss Romance Recaps
  • 💜 Mini Reviews when I finish something that wrecked me in the best way
  • 💫 Kiss and Confession Meters (I have a system. It’s scientific. Ish.)
  • 🧼 A fake K-drama project called Suds and Swoons (because why not?)
  • 💌 Behind-the-scenes thoughts, emotional ramblings, and occasional chaos

If you’ve found me again after all this time: thank you. I’ve missed this. I’ve missed you.
And if you’re brand new here: welcome. I hope this blog feels like a soft blanket, a cup of tea, and a good kiss scene all rolled into one.

This space is also chronic illness–friendly, neurospicy–friendly, and “today was hard but I still showed up”–friendly.

Let’s scream about first kisses, cry about confessions, and sparkle through it all together.

With love and K-drama brainrot,
Zen-ah 💋
(Formerly The Drama Noona, now fully powered by Bit-ah™ the Sparkle Entity 🪽⌨️👑)

Charming cartoon-style fangirl with purple hair and heart eyes, clutching a remote in one hand and her chest with the other in dramatic swoon mode. Surrounded by pink hearts and sparkles, she looks lovestruck and thrilled. Above her, bold pastel text reads “LET’S KISS AND TELL,” setting the tone for a drama breakdown full of romantic chaos and fangirl joy.

  1. Oh wow, welcome back, brand new blog and brand new identity, even! Zen-ah.. I’ll have to get used to that.

I’m sorry to hear that life’s been tough, to the point where you weren’t sure if you would be back, but how very cool, that you’ve decided to come back!

Much love to ya, my ol’ chingu! ❤️

    1. Hello Chingu!
I’ve been a lurking viewer of your blog all these years. It’s been one of the consistent things that has given me joy as things became a struggle for me. I’m so glad to see you again! I finally feel that I can reclaim something that is a joy. Thank you for the warm welcome back!
Love and good vibes to you as well!

  2. Chingu!! I’m checking emails and saw this post. It’s wonderful to see you back! I have missed you. I totally understand life getting in the way of everything and all about the burnout. I’ve been through it myself these last couple of years and lost my my mom three years ago.

I’ve moved on a bit from my obsessive Kdrama watching. Sometimes I can barely focus on more than one or two episodes. (I miss the days we used to binge at least 2 or 3 dramas a week!) But I still watch some that catch my eye. I’m still sad about losing dramacool, too.

I’m glad your mind is clearer to pick back up doing what you love.

If you’re on Instagram: For the last few years I’ve had a big fan obsession with a Japanese actor. I started having it all those years ago, too. (I think this will be my last! lol) Please feel free to follow!

    1. Chingu!! Oh gosh it is so very-very good to see you!! I’ve missed you as well! Life does tend to have a way of taking over everything doesn’t it? I’m so sorry to hear about your mom, my heart definitely goes out to you.

I had a good few years where I only watched 10 dramas the whole year instead of 30+ so I absolutely understand how the binge-bug can flutter away. Indeed losing that site has been a big blow.

Thank you m’dear! I appreciate it, and it feels so good to be back.

I friended you on instagram! I love your fan obsession, I can see why you’re obsessed.

      1. Thanks so much. 10 dramas a year sounds about right for me, maybe less now. Only when I have the energy and right focus. And thank you for following! I appreciate that.

      2. Is there a drama that you’ve really loved recently? I’m always looking for new dramas to consume. Sometimes you have to be in the right mindset and vibe to watch, that’s totally understandable.
