He spoils her with her own private restaurant, where he cooks for her, serves her, and they banter playfully the entire time. It’s charming, it’s intimate, and it’s giving rich boy trying very hard to impress his queen energy.
His final trick? He throws fire onto the steak he’s cooking, which erupts into very big flames, setting off the sprinklers.
Cue absolute chaos.
Gu Won rushes to Sa Rang, sweeps her off her feet, and lifts her onto the counter, panicking that she might be hurt after dropping her wine glass in the commotion.
💦 Now, let me tell you how HOT this was…
Because I mean… any kiss in any kind of water is already a 10 on the drama thermometer.
But this one?? THIS ONE???

😳 He’s leaning in. She’s wide-eyed. They’re breathing heavily.
You could feel the electricity between them, like they were the fire and the sprinkler system couldn’t handle it.
Then… he leans forward and asks:

Sa Rang leans in, closing the distance… and we get the kiss we’ve been waiting eight whole episodes for. And let me tell you:

They kiss like they’ve been holding this in for years. Like nothing else in the world exists. Like the sprinklers, the flames, the glass on the floor, none of it matters. Just them. Just this.
😵 I was fanning myself the whole time.
And yes… I rewound it.
Once? Maybe.
Twice? Probably.
Ten times? … Confirmed.
For making us wait until the very end of Episode 8, they gave us a doozy of a kiss, full of heat, emotion, longing, and just the right amount of chaos.
It’s the kind of kiss you remember. The kind you feel in your soul. 💜
🎭 Reactions + Aftermath:
They know they made us wait way too long for that kiss, so what do we get at the top of episode 9? A full replay. And let me tell you, I was absolutely here for it. Maybe even rewound it a time or two. (Okay, maybe more than two. Let’s not talk about it.)
That kiss? It made the entire eight-episode wait worth it. Sprinklers off, but now it’s raining outside, because of course it is, and our babies are snuggled up under a blanket with what little survived the fire, the flood, and the sizzling tension (aka their dinner).
They’re playful. They’re flirty. They’re comfortable. And it just makes that kiss hit even harder. Like, yes, let me live in this little blanket cocoon of emotional payoff.

📝 Final Thoughts:
Evil older sister of our sweet baby Wonnie is absolutely going to stir up trouble, I feel it in my drama-loving bones. She’s got “let me ruin everything” energy and I’m preemptively yelling at her through the screen.
I also need more jealous baby moments. They’re both so stinking cute when they get possessive and pouty, it just feeds my little trope-loving heart.
Of course, it’s not a K-drama without a misunderstanding or two (or five), so I’m mentally preparing for some emotionally painful detours. But all that said?
