💬 A second shift, a second chance, and a dangerously domestic misunderstanding.
🩷 Opening Scene: Return of the Sponge Prince
- Jun-Hwan shows up the next day at Rose Bay, apronless, but with suspiciously damp hair (…why is that attractive??)
- Seo Ah is already in the dish pit, earbuds in, scrubbing like it’s therapy.
- He taps the counter instead of her shoulder. She jumps. He smirks.
- Jun-Hwan: “You sent me a text. That implies obligation.”
- Seo Ah (without looking up): “I meant to send it to the apron.”

🧽 Scene 1: The Apron That Started It All
- She tosses him a clean apron; it hits him in the face. Sparks fly.
- He puts it on backwards. She corrects it without thinking… hand on chest, eyes lock.
- Time slows for 2.8 seconds. Tofu’s meow interrupts from her phone background.
- Seo Ah flusters. Jun-Hwan shrugs: “Maybe I like it complicated.”
- Internal screaming ensues (from both parties).
🧊 Scene 2: The Ice Bucket Incident

- Jun-Hwan insists he can carry the ice bucket solo. Spoiler: he cannot.
- Ice explodes across the floor. Lu walks in at that exact moment.
- Lu: “What the hell is this, a skincare commercial?”
- Seo Ah laughs. Jun-Hwan scowls at the ice like it personally betrayed him.
- Tension bubbles. Lu grabs a mop and mutters, “Just kiss already.”
🍶 Scene 3: Vinegar and Vulnerability

- Seo Ah accidentally splashes vinegar on her wrist. Jun-Hwan gently wipes it off with a towel like it’s life-threatening.
- Seo Ah: “It’s fine, not acid.”
- Jun-Hwan (softly): “Still stings.”
- Silence. Long eye contact. Emotional vinegar fog settles.
- She breaks it by laughing. “You’re terrible at metaphors.”
- He looks very offended, for someone wiping her wrist tenderly.
💔 Scene 4: The Almost Talk

- Closing shift. Lights off. Only dishroom glows.
- Jun-Hwan starts to say something. Seo Ah interrupts with a joke.
- He pauses. Smiles faintly. “You always do that.”
- Seo Ah: “What?”
- Jun-Hwan: “Deflect. Right before it gets real.”
- She opens her mouth. Doesn’t speak. Neither does he.
💘 Final Scene Tease: The Kitchen Door
- Seo Ah locks up and steps into the night. Jun-Hwan is already outside, waiting.
- “Walk you home?” he asks, like it’s nothing.
- She stares. “You know I live across the street, right?”
- He nods. “Doesn’t mean I don’t want to get you there safe.”
- She walks. He follows. The camera lingers on their shadows—just a little closer than before.
